The Context

DataBrewery is a data infrastructure product by Renan. As a founding team member, I hold full ownership of the product — spanning product development, product management, and business development.

The challenge was taking the product from an idea to a validated MVP, then scaling it with real users and revenue signals.

My Role

I operated as the product lead and early growth driver. This was not advisory — this was hands-on ownership of the entire product lifecycle from discovery through scaling.

What I Did

  • Talked to users to validate core problems and continuously refine the product direction
  • Led early customer acquisition and onboarding — getting 50+ users onto the platform
  • Owned end-to-end product development and management across all phases
  • Drove business development to identify revenue pathways and partnerships

Timeline & Phases

MVP Phase Jan 2025 → March 2025
Stage 2 Product Development Oct 2025
Scaling Phase Nov 2025 → Ongoing

The Outcome

DataBrewery went from zero to 50+ early users onboarded, with a validated product direction built on real user conversations. The structured GTM and product approach created a strong foundation for the current scaling phase.

Key Insight

Products don't fail because of bad ideas — they fail because founders don't talk to users early enough. Continuous validation and tight feedback loops are the difference between building what people want and building what you assume they need.
